Privacy Policy — Onflow
Last updated: 05/26/2026
TL;DR
Onflow stores everything on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared, nothing is sold. There are no analytics, no ads, no third-party trackers. If you uninstall the app, your data goes with it.
What we collect
Nothing.
Onflow does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app does not require an account, does not require an internet connection for core functionality, and does not communicate with any servers operated by us or by third parties during normal use.
What stays on your device
The following information is stored locally on your device only:
- Child profile data you enter — name, optional avatar photo, sensory theme preference, timer-sound preference
- Routines and routine steps you create — including any photos you attach to steps
- Routine history — which routines were started and finished, when, and which steps were completed or skipped
- Your parent PIN — stored encrypted using your device's secure keystore (iOS Keychain or Android EncryptedSharedPreferences)
This data lives in the app's private storage area, accessible only to Onflow. It is not visible to other apps. It is not synced anywhere. Uninstalling Onflow removes all of it.
What we do not do
- We do not collect analytics or telemetry of any kind
- We do not show ads
- We do not include third-party SDKs that report to ad networks or marketing platforms
- We do not require a Google or Apple sign-in
- We do not require an Onflow account
- We do not have a server that holds your data
- We do not sell or share data with anyone, because we don't have any to sell or share
Photos
If you attach a photo to a routine step (e.g., a picture of your kid's toothbrush), Onflow asks Android for permission to access your photo library. The selected photo is copied into Onflow's private storage on your device. The photo never leaves your device. Onflow does not access photos you haven't explicitly selected.
Children's privacy
Onflow is intentionally designed for use with children. The app does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children. There are no features in v1 that transmit data over the network for any purpose.
Onflow is intended to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by virtue of collecting no data at all.
Permissions Onflow uses
- Photos / Media — only to let you select images for routine steps, with your explicit permission per pick
- Vibration — for soft haptic feedback when timers complete (this is device-local; nothing is transmitted)
- Storage — to write the local SQLite database that holds your data
Future versions
A future Onflow release may add an optional cloud sync feature for families who want their routines available across multiple devices. If and when that feature ships:
- It will be strictly opt-in. Cloud sync will be off by default.
- This privacy policy will be updated before the feature ships, with a clear explanation of what data is synced, where, and how it's protected.
- Your existing routines will not be uploaded automatically when you update the app. You'll be asked.

Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the updated version at the same URL and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes (e.g., new data collection of any kind) will be flagged in-app before they take effect.
